Laura Cathcart Robbins is the best-selling author of the Atria/Simon & Schuster memoir, Stash, My Life In Hiding, and host of the popular podcast, The Only One In The Room. She has been active for many years as a speaker and school trustee and is credited for creating The Buckley School’s nationally recognized committee on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice. Her recent articles on the subjects of race, recovery, and divorce have garnered her worldwide acclaim. She is a 2022 TEDx Speaker, and LA Moth StorySlam winner. Currently, she sits on the advisory boards of the San Diego Writer’s Festival and the Outliers HQ podcast Festival. Scott Slaughter is a producer, photographer and traveler living in Studio City, California with his girlfriend, Laura Cathcart Robbins. He is also the co-host of the popular podcast, The Only One In The Room and the father of two daughters, Lily and Nora Slaughter. Scott is an avid outdoor-enthusiast and surfer. Having traveled all over the United States and the world in pursuit of these endeavors, he has finally found his home in the City of Angels , where he has lived for the past 11 years. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Design Media Arts and is passionate about storytelling of all modes.

Kalin Greene is the Social Media Intern for The Only One In The Room podcast, managing and creating the content for the podcast’s Facebook and Twitter platforms. She is a highly sought after social media management professional, whose expertise is in content creation, production, and strategizing on platforms. She will be a newly graduating college student with a degree in Communications by the end of this year.
